Hey C.A.C !!

This question must have been asked a million times before, but I looked in search and could'nt find the answer. Does anyone recommend a specific brand of battery for the vette ??? I have Duralast now, the red top. I was looking at the gold top for its larger cranking amps.
Ive always been a fan of Interstate Batteries, but had really good service from these Red tops. With all of the ups and downs in charging this year without the Battery Tender , I think I may need one in the spring. Any suggestions???? ;shrug

P.S. Finally bought the Tender..

Billy,
Have a look at THIS THREAD for some ideas. There seems to be a growing consensus against the Optima.

I have had an Optima Red Top in my car for close to 5 years. No complaints. The car is not a daily driver and is maintained on a Deltran Battery Tender. That said, I just replaced this battery with an Exide Oribital. This is also an AGM type battery and these have received good write ups on some of the other forums. Good luck with it.
