What are some of the things you'd like to see in the C7, that is not currently available in the C6? :)

Me! ;LOL

Sorry Rob. I couldn't resist. I'll go sit in timeout awhile.

A price more realistic and in line w/the VETTE,although a fantastic car, still being a Chevy!NO MORE CREAKING ROOFS,STICKY FIRST GEARS,NOISY BRAKES,ETC ETC,THAT one would expect from a true 45+ THOUSAND DOLLAR CAR!:D

Smaller, better mileage, same great performance.

A revolutionary design, like the C3, where nothing else on the road looks like it. None of this evolution talk. Better interior, and overall lighter weight. And please no reduction in displacement, even if there is forced induction.

How about a smaller and lighter car with a smaller engine? Just as long as they don't make it Pontiac Solstice small! The interior will still have to be big enough for us 6'6" guys to fit in it.

With a smaller and lighter car (which is the direction GM went with the C6 anyway), we can get better fuel economy, and even if they do reduce the displacement, the lbs/hp could still remain relatively unchanged.

All Wheel Drive. Forget the flip up headlights, too much wind resistance at speed.

i would like to see more gas milage even if you lose a little performance. alot better interior and seats., a shifter that is slick, really good and super short.:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)Billy

Displacement on demand that was determined by the driver. My thought is that it would presented be kinda like the second set of injectors on the ZR-1s- essentially a dual mode system. Maybe a key, maybe a toggle, maybe an adaptive program- whatever. The idea is for a "fuel economy" mode and a "competition" or "sport" mode.

And a significant price drop....
:chuckle

The c6 is a pretty good car as it is, and is so hard to improve on. But to stay on topic, I have said this before: I would love to see an electrochromic roof panel that allows you to choose how dark you want the glass. Electrochromic headlamps would be cool too, when they are off they just blend in with the car, but when you turn them on they become clear, kind of gimmicky but sounds kind of neat. And oh god, please a better stereo. My Bose sounds so weak and tinny, there is no definition whatsoever.

How about that new self-healing paint? I believe it is starting to flow thru to some new cars now, one for sure is a Japanese 4X4.

Until I read this, I didnt know that the technology had been implemented yet. I kewn it was on the drawing boardn though. I did a quick google search, and it looks like Nissan is the Japanese company in question. They debued the technology on one of their SUV's in Japan back in 2005. Apparenlty it has finally made it over here, on their top of the line Infinity SUV.

A coat of that self healing clear coat would be a nice addition, and considering the Corvette is GM's flagship, I dont think it is out of the question.

On a seprate note, I would like some honest to God carbon fiber accents in the interior. Not the plastic with a carbon fiber overlay like we have now.

less tire noise i would like to hear the exaust over tire and wind noise

I'd like to see a smaller, DOHC (bring back the Illmore Indy motor) in a 2500 lb car with all wheel drive, an 8500 redline TT engine running E85 (flex fuel). about 500 hp would be enough. very radical new styling.

bring back the looks of the c3 at peak, modernize it, downsize it, and make it much lower and more aerodynamic.

Chevy has the technology, but until it turns the corner, the c7 I'm afraid is quite a ways down the road.

being a ZR-1 guy, I'm a DOHC fan. the pushrod engines certainly are efficient, light and compact, but I would like to see a very high revving small displacement, light vette.

better still, electomagnetic or pnematic valves with variable lift for throttle and low end torq.

none of the c7 styling concepts have done it for me so far. :)
