I've changed the stock Rochester injectors to 26 lb Accel ones (based on the fact my '86 has a ZZ3 and the stock injectors was for the early '86 iron head engine). Assuming that the fuel pump is up to snuff and an adjustable regulator has been installed, what do I need to change?
Would it be correct to assume that the ECM will feed the engine the correct air-fuel mixture while in closed loop but possibly go too rich at WOT (and when the engine's cold)?
I would assume that the ECM would also report a much better fuel consumption than actual? I'm getting 28-32 mpg at a steady cruise but the car's also missing actual range. Not important but nice to know the real remaining range/consumption
