Hi folks, On the passenger side of the engine, there is a tube coming off of the exhaust manifold, travels over the valve cover, where the tube becomes flex tube, then into a fitting on the intake manifold with some type of sensor mounted on it. The flexible part of the tube is split and the wire going to the sensor was just wrapped around the top of the sensor. Any help identifying these parts is appreciated.

Egr-tube with sensor wire. With it disconnected you can expect a code 32.
Does your yellow ses light come up when you turn on the ignition?
Or with other words, do you get a code at all, or does the ses light come on when driving?
Well, ya know what I mean.

Thanks Vette, the only code I had been getting was 34, MAF. Started cleaning and tying up loose ends when I noticed the split and loose wire. Havent started it since then. Is the EGR tube readily available anywhere? Thanks

Thanks for the link, Vette, but it keeps comming up invalid. I see Ecklers has the tube for $94, Ebay has a used one for $49. Probably go with new, I'm sure the used ones are all brittle. Thanks for the input!

No, the link doesn´t work, you´re right.
Go in at corvettecentral.com, choose your year and type egr pipe and you get what you need. There is also the "sock-shield" that wraps arround the pipe.
