What Trannys did 79 come with

I am curious about the tranny in my 79. I have been looking up info on muncie transmissions and have only seen codes and dates up to 74. I thought i had read in other threads that 79's came with muncies and another type of tranny. I have a 4 speed manual but have yet to determine what it is. Can anybody give me any insight as to what trannys came with 79's

Don't know . . . maybe a Saginaw??
