This is Martinz06, just wondering what type of jobs all you Z06 owners have. To be able to aford or Z06 i had to get a second job. I'm a physical therapist by education, but as everyone knows health care doesn't pay to much, but I love helping people. my second job is real estate which has been very fun and profitable over the last couple of years. It took me two years of selling to final make my dream come true! Has anyone else had to get a second job for there vette. :upthumbs

security consultant for the Gvoernment

My job is writing software. It used to pay pretty well, but now... :(
Anyway, I've been tossing around the idea of taking a weekend job to get some bills paid off. And, it would give me an excuse to say NO CAN DO if my boss wants me to work weekends, without compensation!

With 2 jobs, do you have time to actually relax and enjoy life?

Tammy

I'm a dry-cleaner work for myself and my customers (20yrs now). No second job (no time for it).

I'm currently laid off.
oh, i guess that's why I DON'T have a Z06 after all!
:L

I drive a medical coach between hospitals in my town. The coach is used in the treatment of patients with kidney stones. As stated earlier, the medical field is not known for overpaying it's workers. I came into a rather large inheritence last year, was able to pay off my four year old house, buy my 2004 Z06, and trade my 2001 Dodge diesel for a 2004 Dodge diesel dually to haul my car trailer with. I already had the enclosed trailer and my 1923 Ford Model T street rod for many years. All I can say is" Thanks Dad for looking out for your only offspring"!!!

I am not sure I can talk about that here. It could be against forum rules!!!!! :L

Maybe we can discuss in the EDGE!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHHHAHAAHHHAAHHHAHAHHA

Hmm... something tells me that if BV's occupation were ever revealed, Mac might have to report it to local authorities. :L

I am a City Planner by trade. I deal with all the new applications for land use coming into town- and in the city in which I work, that's a lot. I haven't seen this level of growth since the late '90s. I like to think that I can afford my Vette because I'm not married and have no kids (that I know of.) As a result, I can afford to have my priorities revolve around me. :cool

Hi martinz06 -

I work as a Senior IT Analyst in Transaction Processing Services for a Fortune 500 company that makes big yellow bulldozers...:D

I do not have to have a second job, but I do web pages on the side for acquaintances, usually on the barter system - for instance - I do a web site for a local motorcycle dealer, and they give me free labor and parts at cost.

best regards -

yes tne therapy job is demanding, but real estate isn't to bad sell a lot to my friends which makes it easy also take my daughter with me if i build enough clients would do real estate full time. nothing better to show a house in a brand new corvette they think i must know what i'm doing!!!!

I sell drugs for a living.

I am a pharmacist. I run the pharmacy in the Cancer Care Center in Boise. I would stronly suggest that everyone avoid seeing me professionally.

My major role is to prepare chemotherapy for our patients, but I see my role as more of a safety officer. I believe that my main job is to be the guy who stands between a patient and an error. I also like the patient contact. We get to know each other after a while and even become friends. It will matter to someone that I went to work each day. I work with only six physicians, so we know each other and they have come to trust my judgement.

The hard part is all the death. By the time people get to us, they have, or are at risk to have, systemic disease. Most are by definition not curable. I just remember that cure is not always the goal. The goal may be to extend life, improve quality of life, see the son get married, see the daughter graduate from college, or to see a new grandson. It is intense but rewarding work.

Another benefit is that it has helped me to see what matters in life, and what does not. Life is not about the accumulation of money or stuff. It is about relationships and love. It is about service to others. It is about looking in the mirror and being happy with your conduct and the contents of your heart.

Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. I've done hundreds of trials. Rape, robbery, murder, carjacking, narcotics, everything. I'm currently in the warrants section deciding what charges to write against the bad guys.

I'm tempted to say that I am a professional driver as it seems that is the biggest part of my job, covering the state of Tennessee. I'm a marketing manager in the insurance industry. In the business for nearly 40 years, I retired last year from a large national firm where I worked for 28 years. I went to work a month later for a smaller regional commercial lines carrier. I call on independent insurance agents throughout the state. No, I don't drive the Corvette, my company car is an Impala. :(

I work for the world's largest vehicle manufacturer.

I'm an Electrical Engineer.

Most of my friend's wives make them buy expensive houses and cheap cars. Because I am single with no kids, I can have a cheap house and an expensive car. :) hehehe
