I'd call it Grand Sport, it sure sounds like a "GS", admiral blue, artic white stripes, red hash marks, red interior!!!!! Limited Edition...........Rob said:What do you think this new "Blue Devil" Corvette should be called?
The ZL-1 is like the king of L-88's. It was an all aluminum L-88 block. Only two were made. No one really knows it's horsepower, but most say around 600.:eekErik S. True, but because of how rare and short lived it was (1969 only, right?) it doesn't have the aura of L-88 to me, at least.Brett said:The ZL-1 is like the king of L-88's. It was an all aluminum L-88 block. Only two were made. No one really knows it's horsepower, but most say around 600.:eek
I really like that idea. It would interesting to see what they might come up with.drags1998 said:Hi Guys& Girls, I voted "OTHER", I dont think G.M. should reuse ANY Previously Issued badging!!!!!! They need to be a little more creative!!!! Just my .02 worth:L
That is what I speculated also, but apparently it has something to do with one of the guys at GM being a big Duke fan (the Duke mascot is a blue devil).MidKnight said:Heck, I wouldn't mind them calling it the 'blue devil'....BTW, is that a throw back to the original 'blue flame'?
I thought Z06 was already going to be it's own car and the Blue Devil something else above and beyond that...Rob said:Interesting poll results. Not one person has picked Z06. :L
