Folks, I'm thinking of parting with my baby and I'm curious as to what you think it's worth:

LT4 Convertible
Triple Black
Hardtop included
31,500 miles
Late build date, so no roller rocker problem
Never driven by anyone under 45
Totally Stock except for K&N air filter
Standard suspension
Goodyear EMTS (about 8K on them) and LTPWS
Delco-Bose Gold system
Dual power sports seats
Exterior has the usual couple of rock chips that are touched up
Interior is perfect
Top is perfect
Always garaged and covered
No problems of any kind
Clean CARFAX

Thanks for your thoughts,

Over 20k for sure. depending how long you want to wait you could probably pull close to 30k for it if you find the right buyer.... it's all finding the right person with a low mile car like yours:)

I would say with your miles certainly around 20 or maybe a fuzz more. A triple black LT4 vert is a desirable combination but was built in more numbers than say a Sebring silver on red vert with the LT4 which is more sought after due to lower production. I have watched the LT4 verts a little lately because I am in the market for one and have seen really nice silver on red LT4s with around 10k miles get in the 25 to 28 range. more miles than that puts them a little under that. This is very generally speaking of course and your milage will vary depending on condition, time of the year and location.

Regards, Greg

Yours sounds like a very nice LT4 indeed. I don't know prices in your market but up here in S. Ontario I would think your car would fetch about 23-24K in US funds, maybe more. Remember, buyers are looking for clean well maintained cars in the best shape they can find and low mileage is always a huge plus in my opinion (like yours which happens to be the same mileage as mine coincidently). Black is always popular. Convertibles are very popular here as are LT4's and 6 speeds (any year). Your car has all of that plus the hard top. Don't give it away.....someone is dreaming in triple black somewhere!By the way, you sure you won't miss it when it's gone???????:confused

I agree.

For the general Vette buyer that would be about right. If you can connect with a hard core enthusiast who just "has to have" that combo you could command a premium, but that's usually hard to do.

You can see what I have, so I hope you get as much as you can, but then there is reality.

I paid 18 for mine 2 years ago (50k miles, non vert.)

Thanks for all the input. Very mixed emotions from day to day on parting with it, but that will help me hold out for the best price.

JCS44, email me,am interested in a vert.

Just bought mine in May of this year.32K Miles, adult driven never in the rain ,garaged with cover,Black / Tan Leather Prestine.Paid a little over $21K.Louisianna.

I looked for the right car for over 6 mos. I wanted black w/ beige or purple w/ beige LT4, completely stock and original. Finally found one with a reputable dealer, Konkens in Hartington NE, and paid $20K which I believe is right on the money. Not one regret. :D

Milage was 40K. Chose the black one over a white/beige LT4 with 29K for the same money. The white was located MN with a gentleman in his early 60's who had owned the car for several years. The difference for me was Konkens reputation. I also looked at a 93 Black Rose/beige 6 speed with 22K which Gerry Konken had sold two years earlier to a fellow in Joplin, MO. I believe all three were great cars, I just really wanted a black LT4. Also still have a PoloGreen LT4 Cpe I bought earlier this year. A few thousand dollars more and it may be a good driver. :mad
