wheels.....what does this mean?

looking at some American Racing Wheels.....and this nomeclature is listed in their site...

405-Custom17x8 Rev.3.0-3.50
405-Custom17x8 3.75-5.

What does the Rev. mean? Does that mean it is a deep dish wheel? or rather a deeper dish wheel? with the 3" back spacing does that mean that the wheel has about a 5 inch dish? as opposed to a 5 inch back space leaving a 3 inch dish?

Yes, Rev means reversed and it is a deep dish available in a 3 or 3.50 inch backspacing which would give you 4.5 or 5.0 inch front side depth. You would have to do some careful measuring before ordering those. The second one will be shallower with custom backspacing of 3.75 to 5.0 inches depending on what you order. For reference I believe that 8 inch Corvette ralleys have a 4 inch backspacing.
