I am thinking to get a B&B cat back system, but I am undecided if I should get the 2.5 inch or 3.0 ince system. My Vette is unmodified and probably will stay that way, except a few smaller mods like MAF and Air filter............so, I ma thinking the 2.5 system is prolly better up to the stock redline than the 3.0 which I have heard loses some torque in the lower rpm range..

What are your thoughts???

There is more fo a chance of resonance with a bigger pipe. I know the 3" system resonates. Horsepower really does not seem to be a big concern with you, just a nice sounding good looking system. So I would recommend the 2.5". Have you call Triflow to ask what the difference would be? I heard from others it was to reduce resonance into the cabin.

I guess I am wrong anyway........B&B only makes a 3 inch system for the LT1/4 engines.....funny, there are different part numbers for the LT1 and LT4 system........at least for the 96 cars the LT1 and LT4 system should be identical.........does anyone know why???

The 2.5 inch system is only for L98 C4s

They have the 2.5" for LT1/4.

If you want a great sound with less resonance get the 2.5." If you are going to do a lot of mods get the 3."

If they do, it is not listed on B&B's web site anymore.........I thought they do too, maybe they stopped making them because of less demand......
