I'm relatively new to the forum and have seen several posts on the effects of poor gas on our fuel gauge / senders. The consistant remarks seem to be to use a quality fuel like Chevron. Aside from obvious "Mom & Pop" type of stations, what are some of the name brand stations that use poor quality fuel?? and some of the best for that matter. I usually use Shell and I'm currently on a 1000+ mile trip through Florida,(by the way, 74 degrees and sunny in Ft. Myers!!
) Yesterday I filled up with Hess because I was running on fumes and it was all I could find. guess what?,, at around a half tank, my guage started acting up and fluctuating!!

any input, for good and bad stations would be appreciated.
