Loose the louvers... QUICK! Too cheesy (in my humble opinion, of course).

I am not a fan of the louvre but anything would look better than my bubbly rear window tint.

I am going to properly tint the rear window...well,OK,I'm not, but someone will. I want to get rid of the tinted Lexan one-piece insert I have now... http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette?frame=4.5234 .Anyone interested in buying it.I would STRONGLY suggest it should be local pickup. The thing is,obviously, the size of the rear window,& packaging would be a super pain in the ____.

The c3 has great lines. I think the louvres sort of mess them up. I also think that the whole louvre scene went out with parachute pants and member's only jackets....remember those??

I'm at work right now and the pics aren't showing up. But that doesn't matter. I've NEVER seen a vette that looked good with louvers. In fact, I really can't think of any sportscar that looks good with louvers. Maaaaybe a firebird from the 80's or something. :L

THE very first thing to go when we brought "BIGBRRD" (our '78 TransAm) home was the louvers the PO had installed. Hate the things.

One plus is that the louvers came from a freind off an 80 Corvette,& I got them for free. Looks like the only way to attach them is how they were previously, with double-sided tape ;shrug
