I just bought a window valet and set it up, the problem is it linked up OK and the windows went down and then up as the instructions stated. Then when I try to use it to raise the windows they go to the top and then back down. Even with the doors open, it thinks the window stop is resistance before it is shut. Any body ever dealt with this?

There's a calibration process in the instructions that resolves this issue. You need to read section or page 14, which explains the calibration process.

I did not see any page 14 or calibration instructions.

do you have a copy of them?

Thank you, I never saw this document before. I will definitely save it.
I did the configure and enable functions when I installed the valet unit.
This time I did the a same functions;
First I raised the convertible top, powered up the windows, removed the key from the ignition, shut the doors and then while holding the reset button I tapped the door unlock on the drivers door switch. Then on the DIC I pressed
4-enter configure menu
1-configure windows
2-enable and calibrate

The windows went down then up
Got out of the car and shut the doors
Pressed unlock three times and the windows went down
Pressed lock three times and then the windows went up all the way and stopped at the uppermost limit

This is really cool, wish I had this last year
Thanks again
Doug

You're welcome. I know how frustrating that was.

Hey Junkman2008,

Do you (or any one else for that matter) know if it is possible to get the windows to auto roll down WITHOUT turning on the radio and antenna? I have tried to find a way to configure that way but never was able to come up with a solution. Why lowering the windows has to power up the stereo is beyond me. :)

Have you tried turning the radio off before you lock up the car? I can't remember if that works or not but I do know that if you hit the unlock button once more after the windows go down, that will turn the radio back off. If you hit the unlock button while the windows are going down, it will stop them in place and the radio won't come on.
