I'm hoping there is somthing I can do besides replace the windshield. Any Ideas would be welcome. Thanks--Les

Well, are the pits in the windshield or some cracks from rocks. If they are in your line of site and larger than a quarter many windshield repair places (novus) can work out deals with your insurance company to cover the deductable as it is considered a safety hazard.

Hi les:
If I'm not mistaken, any vehicle in SC that's covered with comprehensive has a NO deductible glass replacement clause. Dunno what's your coverage ... do know that it's preferable to not go through replacement hassles. IMHO, I'd rather have a new glass than an altered one.

Thanks Dude and Jack. Dude what I have is little pitts. Like a pencil point. Must be six or seven of them. Jack, I could turn it in. I just changed my insurance from State Farm to Geico. So , I feel like I should wait awhile. These little pitts make the windshield look dirty.
