Windshield washer tank

Does anyone know where the hose coming out of the top of the windshield washer tank goes?

It goes to the center port on the washer pump on the wiper motor.

I’m not sure I understand. This hose looks to be an overflow or to pressurize the tank. I can’t find anyplace on the wiper motor to attach it. But I will keep looking.

The windshield washer tank isn't pressurized - the hose from the cap goes to the center port on the washer pump on the front of the wiper motor; see photo below - the ports are on the orangy plastic part on the right. The motor/pump in the photo is a '67, which is reversed from the C3, but it's the same idea.

Are you sure you're talking about the washer tank, or the vacuum tank, or the coolant overflow bottle?

My setup is not the same as what you show in the picture. My pump is attached to the outside bottom of the windshield washer tank. And there are no ports on the motor.

Then you have a '75 or later reservoir and wiper motor; that's when they took the pump off the motor and integrated it into the bottom of the reservoir.
