Windsor '04Convention - Who's Going?

Just got the registration forms in my Driveline. I was at Hershey but missed most of it so I'd like to go but family issues may preclude me going. Anyone else planning on going. Man oh man, I hope I can figure a way to go.

So John, you ready for all of the, uh, fun you've gotten yourself into;).

What a silly question :D. You bet, Eric but I'm not sure which car to take ;) .

I have my 1963 Z06 completely tore down right now - if "LADY" is ready I plan on being at Windsor, provided I can do a late registration or whatever

JohnZ or someone at National can confirm this but I know that at Hershey registration was allowed even if the car didn't have it's pre-qualifying Flight awards. The owner had to tell when and where they planned to have the car judged for Chapter or Regional Flight then if the car makes the cut at those events, it's in.

71Shark,

thanks for the response - have 2nd flighted the car twice at Chapter and am planning on doing either Charlotte or New Jersey Regionals - again if the car is ready and then ultimately Windsor

I'll be there one way or the other. If not for the whole thing at least on a day pass. I doubt I'll have time to get the '81 judged anywhere this year with all of the time we're spending on Cruise-Fest.

Correct - if you haven't had the car judged under your ownership during the previous three years and plan on having it judged at an upcoming Chapter or Regional Meet as the pre-requisite between now and the National, shoot an e-mail to Roy Sinor (National Judging Chairman, rsinor@geotec.net) and he'll take care of it for you; as long as you get a Third Flight or better at the intervening meet, you can register for judging at the National (unless that class is filled up).

Well, we have the basics pretty well laid out and all the big stuff is taken care of, but it's the million little things that will be the challenge to identify and handle ahead of time; planning is easy - execution is harder :D

Just put in for my vacation for that week. Hopefully, my Silver '68 coupe will be selected for "Bowtie" judging. Hershey was FULL last year when I tried to enter it. Will also be doing Charlotte & NJ Regionals. Probably just doing "Sportsman" at those two meets.
