Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Winter in the North, what do you do??

As another member stated they go in November and don't come out till the salt is gone.

When the vetts are in the garage I'll repair, replace or modify things that I can get done during the winter months.

Depending on $$$$ flow, will have work done on the '69...been in a body shop for a few years, mostly in storage.

The '75 will get new brakes, some carb work on the 3x2, re-adjust on the new mono leaf rear spring, and maybe if $$$$ are available, rework the original engine. It is in cold-storage (yesterday was -35 early in the am), so usually wait till warmer weather to get a start on any work. In storage October 15 to April 15...already looking forward to Carlisle!!! :)

Last week we had 3 feet of snow and winter looked like it would never end.:mad:mad But this week, the sun has been out, and the temperature has been in the low 40's. We are starting to get excited but it is going to be a long time before all of the sand and salt is gone. :ugh

We are so tired of winter and are ready to wave to fellow corvette owners.:w
