It is finally spring though... and I survived my first corvette winter with only one discharged battery incident... so things are looking up !:Twist

A beautiful day today.. took the car out for a nice drive.. to the Oral Surgeon's office:eyerole as I had to have a tooth ripped out.. er surgically extracted due to a botched rootcanal years ago... anyway..

It sure was nice to drive my car after this "short" winter !:bar

A nice day for a drive indeed!
I got my mojo working and spot painted a little booboo on my front bumper today.
They make really tall curbs in Baltimore, where I was working last summer, and I got a little too close turning into a parking spot.
So $23.00 of Silver paint and a few hours time was well spent.
This was after lunch, driving there and back to the Auto Finishers supply.

Tomorrow I will wet sand and rub out to see if I'm out of practice or what?

I have one of those too. Cracked one of the roots off a molar that had a root canal eons ago. Not looking forward to it.

Yeah!! Me too!! Took her for a nice lonnnnng ride. 77 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Too bad they're calling for snow for the next couple days. Sucks. But better weather next week.

Yeah, I'm bummed about that. I don't mind if it snows(much), but if they start slinging salt again it will be weeks before I can drivethe Vettes.

The paint job turned out fairly well, but the color doesn't match perfectly. It looked good until I put the clear coat on, then it darkened a shade.:confused It's better than 10" of curb scratches down to the primer, but I'm not happy with it. I will probably redo it after the snow clears out again.

The 82 is still in storage, but it was great driving the C5 for a few days!

I have been thinking about this today.

Maybe spring should "officially" start on the 5th day in a row you can actually drive your car without snow and or salt issues ? That would have made spring begin in January... and end in January.. but begin again in March... and then end again in...:confused

Apparently we get to endure 4 more days of snow and 20-30 F weather... after a nice 70 F yesterday ?:eyerole ad

I had the tops off the last two days and even went on a picnic lunch with my car monday !

Ohio.. if you dont like the weather stick around... or if you like the weather.. something ?hnoes
