Wiper problem

The driver side wiper blade will overreach and hit the pillar and sometimes the mirror. Can the reach of the wiper arm be adjusted? Thanks in advance for any insight.

Take the arm itself pull up. it is splined.If you look under the end for the tab.I used a screwdriver and
gently pried up on the drivers side and reposition it push down on it to reseat it
