Can anyone recommend a harmonic balancer for a 93 LT1 Coupe. I put on a new serp. belt and noticed when I had it started that the balancer was wobbling. Not good. The steel and rubber have probably started to seperate.
Is there any advantage to a non-stock balancer? Ie. race or lightweight balancer. Do I need a new hub too or just a new harmonic balancer. The balancer bolts to the hub which is pressed onto the end of the crank.

Thanks

ATI's are popular with the LT1 crowd
If the fault is only with the balancer you should not have to replace the hub

I have an ATI superdamper but my engine is not stock and spends lots of time above 6,000 rpm.
For a stock engine the factory damper should be fine...if your hub is still secure and you don't have an oil leak just buy quality replacement damper or have yours redone.
But stock damper doesn't look as cool.:upthumbs
