Well at least that's what I think they are! Can't imagine anything harder to photograph apart from the turbos.

Don't know if you can tell if mine is the larger wonderbar from these pics which are the best I took by far.

Unfortunately my camera (Nikon D100) didn't want to autofocus so I had to set it manually and fire like a paparazzi! Also cannot use the LCD screen for focussing. Restricted space in the engine bay meant I had to compromise the ideal viewing angle or lose the effect of the flash which otherwise just fired into the fan cowling and gave a totally underexposed pic.

Might have to do some dismantling at the weekend and set the camera on a tripod!

Didn't like more than one attachment

here's the other

No, Malc, that is the stock Wonderbar. Youre a candidate for the upgrade :)

this is true - The stock ones were a cast "elbow" versus the welded & contoured version on the upgraded wonderbar -
Malc, Are you considering upgrading yours?

Wonderbar

I always thought the wonderbar upgrade menat modifying the crossmember which could be a pig of a job due to limited access.

Is it just a matter of replacing the bar that is joined at both ends by the rubber connectors (blue hose type things)?

If so I'm much more inclined to do this. Now the bit that hurts (maybe) how much is the upgraded wonderbar - anyone likely to have a used one?

It's a fun job:crazy

I think the used ones you find, are attached to the chassis still and probably very well used - and thier owners won't give 'em up ;)

Callaway4Fun is looking into the production run on these (See thread stuck at the top of this forum) and should know more soon :m

Thought there wouldn't be any used ones about!

I'll keep an eye on the forum. Just gonna make another post on something else that mystifies me...
