As promised, here are at least a couple pics.

I have better ones, but they'll be a little while longer in the making...

Joe

Just saw your pix: VERY :cool
I remember a few weeks ago, discussing painting a 'stinger-hood' on a Shark with forum members; exactly as I envisioned it.
Add a pair of 'crossed-flags', L-48, or L-82 badges to the sides of the 'stinger', and you'll be done

Yeah, that's the next question. Gotta see what I can get, and how it attaches.

I also need to get some aluminized insulator material and insulation mounts, to insulate the underside.

Joe

Kinda like the Mach-5! Maybe you could install a little remote control birdie that launches from the hood. hehe

Very nice looking ride!!

Looks great Joe!!! :upthumbs

Do you have a picture of the underside of the hood? I would like to see what it looks like with the hood open.

Thanks, guys :)

I'm definitely happy with it :)

Um, I can, but it's just painted black...

Joe

Very Kewl Joe! At first when you described it, i wasnt sure about beige with red accents (if thats what you want to call it), but it sure looks SHARP !

I'm definitely happy with it :)
MaineShark, I got a question:
what's the chances of cutting the front-openings out, to make that hood truly functional?
Down the road, I'd like to build a bracket racer-C3, and with that hood, I think I'd get enough air to the intake, with-out 'looking' like a race-car.....
Any info is greatly appreciated!!!

I don't think it would be a big problem. You'd need to glass some sort of airbox onto the underside, to mate with your intake.

On the other hand, with the rise in the rear, I'm going to do some sort of cowl induction setup...

Joe

Hey where did you score that hood at? Was it a perfect fit or did you have to do some major work?

Vanacor.

No, it's not show-car perfect, but it's good enough for me.

Joe

Awesome.

Truly awesome.

I think you'll really like the hood seeing that it really makes your car.

WOW! very nice Joe! I now know what I'm gonna do for a project after my rear end rebuild :) .
