I love my C-5 :s I can drive it anywhere and not be drained when I get there....and I get there before anyone else :Steer Since it was my first Vette, I didn't have anything to compare it to, but since I got my '67 (427/400hp) I know that the refinments will never stop...all for the better. We love to dive them and it should not be cramped and hard to drive down the road.

Doug,

I can appreciate your point of view. Certainly, for those who drive them daily, or almost daily, ride quality and comfort are very relevant.

In my case, this car was and soon again will be a weekend warrior. My preference is for the ultimate sensual experience. I want it hot, noisy and hard to control. I want it trying to escape my control. When I get on it, I want the back end to try and come round to kiss the front end.

I want it so loud that a radio truly is irrelevant. I want to feel every pebble on the road. I want my arms to feel sore and tired after a drive. I don't want the shifter to click into the next gear....I want to have to ram it home.

Am I crazy? Probably.

But when a passenger climbs out of this car, I want them to feel something of what is was like to race one of these old ground-pounders.

I want it alllllllllllllll.

In the Words of Sir Mix A Lot " I like big butts and I can not lie!" The C/5 Looks great compared to the plain looking C/4 Fat stance sleek lines wide body all the curves a man could ask for and in all the right places. The interior is the only set back Imo.
;stupid I love my C5 and the C6 can only get better!!! I even liked the interior on my C5 until someone told me I shouldn't.

Goodness! Why wait for a C-6? If you want something hard to control, just go out and buy a Viper! LOL Seriously, I am a daily driver of a Z06, and I don't mind loud noise, stiff suspension, or a limited ability to hear my CD player with music hall reproduction fidelity...so long as it contributes to performance. I've just never understood the desire to have a car that's hard to control. If you want a car hard to control, just take out your Vette with some fat tires in the next snow storm. Frankly, I don't find that much fun. <grin>

Also, I am not one of those C-5 owners who are afraid the C-6 will lessen their investment. I love the lines of the C-5, and the only reason I'd buy a C-6 is for the ponies and the expected performance improvement. I like all the models for what they represented. By the way, your '67 looks great.
