The car is down for an intake manifold coolant leak. Seems as if some of the bolts have loosened up. Actually, before I get to the question, will just tightening these back down stop the leak..it was pretty slow? Or should I just replace the gasket?
Okay, now for the power steering
Since the car is cannot be started yet, I was wondering what your opinions are on my leak. We started the car up (in OH..letting it just warm up during it's winter nap) and shut it down about 5-10 minutes later and left it. The next day I was doing some wrenching, dropped the socket and found a huge puddle under the car. Checked the fluids...seemed good, but then I check the PS fluid. The reservior was 1/2 full if that. The other thing I noticed is that the upper radiator hose is now nice and shiney, but the area around the rack looks dusty and dirty like nothing ever touched it. But then again, it had to some how get to the floor.
Where do you think it's coming from so I can inspect it furher once I finally get it running again. Altough, I would assume this would be a very obvious leak. Thanks.
