Hi guys and gals. I am looking for original seat shims for my 72. Most of us threw them away in the old days. However, I have a very original unrestored 35000 mile car that I would love to have the seat shims for. There were four rectangular shims, about 1.5" X 3.5", and eight round shims, very roughtly 1" in diameter. If you have them you know what they look like; if you don't have them and have never seen them you will not recognize them. They came in an off-white muslin bag with a draw string. In all my years with Corvettes, I have not found ONE PERSON who has ever used them. Merely a conversation piece for the purist or anal retentive. Once I get them I plan on starting to look for all the little paperwork odds and ends that came with the car.
