XM Radio is awesome. I have it in my old 4Runner and I am in the middle of installing it in my '81. $60 is a fantastic deal since I just got a letter in the mail last week saying that they are raising their rates to $12.95 a month starting April 1st. DO it!!!! It's great.

Nut, I agree with you 100%!! XM is simply awesome. I have it in my daily driver and last weekend purchased the Roady 2 for my vette. I haven't had a chance to install it yet though. I hardly ever listen to the "regular" radio anymore.

60 bucks a year? Thats less than 5 bucks a month if you count the 90 day trial (free) offer you get. Thats a bargain!!!

Absolutely Chris. I have the hard wired install's in both cars and not the Roady. And the cost break on multiple systems is a sweet deal too. And with EVERY major league baseball game covered this year too.

Baseball is probably 90% of the reason I got XM. Since I spend alot of time in the car during the summer months, I won't have a game fade in & out while traveling. I can listen to the game from start to finish and not worry about signal strength!!

It's a beautiful thing!!!! :D

Hey everyone! I just wanna tell you this: If you have a C6 corvette with the gps and the xm you may get something where xm tells you real time traffic on the gps. it is offered on the 05 Acura RL for an add. cost.

I called XM to ask about the 60$ promo and was told that it's a promo to win back those people who let their xm service lapse and since I was still on my 90 day free period was not eligible for the promo. I take this to mean that I have to let my free subscription expire then call them up and say that I heard about this promo to get me to pick up XM again. The salesperson said he could not extend my subscription for another year because of the fact that I was still using the service. I DON"T GET IT. Is this how it was for you? Smitty

Smitty, I was only three weeks into my 90 day free period when I saw this offer on another forum. Other members said you may have to call more than once until you get an XM representative that will give you the $60 GM promo. I got it the first time I called. My suggestion is to try again until you get it.
