Hey, it's only about $35,000 to $40,000 overpriced. He's just trying to catch a sucker.

The seller is listed as "ebay seller id" national vehicle marketing. Looks and sounds like a business and not an individual. $50,000.00 is the "buy now" price. Hell, if someone wants to give me 50 grand for my 2000, I'll probably break his arm reaching for the check :L . Says that there are 6 bids on it so far, but when I went to look at the bid history, I found out that you have to log in to see them. Since I don't have (and don't want to have) an ebay logon, I'm outta luck. 23 hours and 24 minutes from now, it'll probably say something like "reserve not met" and be taken off the site. Good luck to him, her, or whoever "they" are.
Andy :w

Maybe they just offered like ... 45k for it ;LOL

I'm sure he's holding out for 48 or so :rotfl

I logged into Ebay

The 6 "bids" are offers from 5 bidders wich the seller declined. I'm thinking of offering him 1/5 of retail since his price is 5x over :-)

"DECLINED" :rotfl

I could see paying 50 large for it... if a ’95 Competition Yellow ZR-1 with 30,000 miles on it came with it.

i tried that once... my ex-wife wanted me to sell my bike and was riding me like a circus pony till i agreed, so i listed in at double the book value... needless to say it didnt sell, but hey i tried :D

the highest bid was for 6000

wow .. only 10k miles and 6k was the highest bid ? ;shrug

Ouch, maybe ebay is not the best place to sell a vette. That car was worth twice that at least .

Actually the car the car may be a 89!!;LOLIt's got 89 wheels and appears to be 89 paint code 68,WA-9239 Red Metallic!! Some Nimrod probly seen a 1988 production date on the door and checked it in the dealership as a 88!!:thumb:thumb Happens All the time!!:D:D:D

if the VIN is correct then it is an 88 because of the letter J.
