Getting all my questions out there today.

Looking at a car for a family member.....found one that seems to have all the individual option codes for a Z51, yet there is no Z51 code in the glovebox. Is this typically, how it is, or were all the Z51 options but one maybe ordered.

Get a repo window sticker from the Corvette Museum. It will be an exact reproduction of the original window sticker and lists all options on the car when delivered.

what option codes? the Z51 included a few things with it, but was mainly the suspension...

I don't have 'em all onhand.....but for example.....FE7 H.P. Suspension, G44 307 gears, KC4 Engine Oil Cooler, PW9 16x9.5 wheels.....a few more.

If your car is an 86 then here is axactly what the sticker should look like.

Note the Z51 option plus all of the other codes. I would say if there is no Z51 code then it is not a Z51 car.

As for the window sticker, there is one still on the car, found mine on the gas tank. see below.

If the RPO sticker doesn't list Z51, the car probably does not have it.

Turns out the Z51 code is in there.....guess I just peeked a bit in haste.
