I have a 88 Vert auto i'm getting ready to order a ZZ383 crate engine. On my L98 i have a Doug Rippie injection system with the big runners but will not use that on the ZZ motor have a Super ram i will use. Not sure which injectors to use yet need suggestions. I'm changing the gear to a 3:08 and probably going to use a 2500 stall. Should i go with a different fuel pump suggestions please. I was wondering about the 8" balancer i do have the capability to modify the crossbar if deemed necessary. Alvin has already did a chip for my old engine and will do so for the new ZZ motor that part is covered. This is not by no means a race care just a car i have and drive once in a while. Appreciate all and any suggestions.
Thanks

8" balancer fits with some beating to the X member for clearance :thumb

For street use, why are you going to match a high-stall converter with a tall axle ratio?

You can't pick an injector size without knowing how much power the engine will make because injector sizing is dependant on fuel flow and fuel flow is dependant on power output.

You will probably need a fuel pump upgrade. It needs to be a pump that "fits" into your existing fuel pump/sender assembly and is capable of enough fuel flow to meet the engine's needs.

You could always call Lingenfelter and ask them about the injectors- since you have their intake. :thumb

They would know best. You'll just have to give them the specs for your cam.

I'd go with an AFPR if you don't have one already. A bigger fuel pump wouldn't hurt- but I'd make sure I had the right fuel pressure too.

Thanks guys this why i asked so as to learn appreciate the comments..
