I'm pretty much in Brett's position and have one simple question: anybody know of any available repair manuals for the LT5? (I'm thinking of the Hayne's type, or the like)

I'm just about to buy a -92 ZR-1. The owner claims the LT5 is 405 hp. I'm pretty sure that engine version is from -93. What's correct?
When driving it and shifting down from 3:d to 2:nd I heard a distinctive (but not very loud) exhaust bang from the end of the pipes. This happend twice...

The milage is roughly 50 k on both. The ZR-1 has just been through a major run through at a professional shop. There were no remarks, and the fluid in the a/c was topped up so I guess that's not a problem here in Sweden.
The price of the C5 is roughly 4000 $ over the ZR-1. Both are in VERY GOOD...
Well Frank, you don't seem like a wiseguy to me. Nor am I an idiot - I've of course posted the same question over at the C5 board. And to tell you the truth - they don't seem quite so sure of the answer as you people in this place. Now, there might be a clue in that as well?!
