Hi. I'm just about to buy a -92 ZR-1. The owner claims the LT5 is 405 hp. I'm pretty sure that engine version is from -93. What's correct? When driving it and shifting down from 3:d to 2:nd I heard a distinctive (but not very loud) exhaust bang from the end of the pipes. This happend twice...

The milage is roughly 50 k on both. The ZR-1 has just been through a major run through at a professional shop. There were no remarks, and the fluid in the a/c was topped up so I guess that's not a problem here in Sweden. The price of the C5 is roughly 4000 $ over the ZR-1. Both are in VERY GOOD...

True. It's a -00 SS, M6 with 12 K on the meter. Mint condition, fully equipped. A very good rig for the next owner. Ajax

Yeah it's as it appears on the pic. OK, so it's been replaced. Figured it might have. And this was done before the repaint. So far so good. I can understand that you don't paint it directly once you put the new one on. I can also understand that a paint shop not familiar with the Vette misses it...
