For Sale 96 Collectors Edition LT4 Convertible 11K Miles

Is this still available? I have virtually the same car but as a coupe. Wife has expressed interest in a vert and I thought it would be nice to have twins.

New owner & member (South Mississippi)

Howdy, I have been away from the site for several years but I'm back. I also live in the Pass, just north of North street. I have a 96 LT4 CE that is temporarily residing in NC. Gerald

Question to owners of white Vettes.

Yea my white Vette used to get them all the time. Its caused by the vortices like you said. I know this sounds bad but if you ever get caught in the rain check the vortices behind your car in the spray. Looking out your rear view mirrors you will see a clockwise swirl from the passenger side...

    LT4 Attention LT4 Owners

Been wondering? Rob, I feel you have done the LT4 owners a big dis-service by doing away with the LT4 section. I see there is a new 40th Anniversary section. What makes them so special, a paint scheme, badging? They are no different than any other C4. The LT4 owners are a different breed...

    '95 ZR-1 Gross Weight?

GVWR is the vehicle, full of fluids (including gas), and IIRC two passengers at an estimated weight of ~160. Can't remember for sure if the passenger weight is correct, actually I can't remember if it includes driver and passenger.:confused But yes your math is correct, although the empty...

    '95 ZR-1 Gross Weight?

:duhI think you misread that Hib. I'm sure he was wondering as far as load on the trailer. NOT hauling a 3400 lb trailer. :chuckle:crazy :w :pat

    '95 ZR-1 Gross Weight?

The gross vehicle weight should be on the sticker inside the drivers door frame. :w

    What's the Difference?

Just going by what you posted about the two cars I would go with the '95 just from the mileage standpoint. :w :pat

    What's the Difference?

I guess but you would hav eto research that a little further. Here we don't have emissions testing so pretty much anything goes.:beer The '96 OBD2 is a little different. It was the first year that OBD2 was mandated, and with the '96 being the last year of production for the C4, not all of the...

    What's the Difference?

LT4 Do LT4's have 'LT4' on rear bumper?

They are getting harder to find thought, especially in Sebring Silver. Been looking for almost two years. :w :pat

    LT4 96 LT4 - $%&#@!! SES Light

Sounds like a weak or not fully charged battery. The random misfire could be the optispark. Mine will occasionally get that during high RPM's ... above 5200. :w

    hatch release problem

There should be a small cable for emergency release located under the trim near the latch. Seems like it is toward the passenger side. You may have to gently pry up the trim piece and use a small dental type probe or bend a clothes hanger so it has a hook at one end to find it. Sometimes it...

    Trans leak

It should be nice and round in both aspects, shape and cross section. :w
