A lot of people including myself changed the fan settings when they got their car tuned. You can also do this via a hand held tuner like the Predator. That way the high speed fan kicks on at say 210 instead of 225. Helps to keep the engine much closer to 200 than 235.

The car show season is pretty much over here except for some cruise ins here and there. The last Corvette specific show was a few weeks ago. Just nice driving days left in the season. Not hard though since the weather up here is like June as opposed to October.

I haven't used wax myself but I love Rain X and have used it for years and years. The key with Rain X is after it hazes over and you wipe it down you have to then use a damp cloth or microfiber to get the window crystal clear.

Shell V Power for me ever since I had gas guage problems. I add a bottle of Techron a couple times a season too.

In my 2000 you have to be stopped and hold the button down to get competitive driving. In the newer C5s you can do it while driving.

Did GM still put that leaky battery in the 04? You may want to look at replacing that before it leaks.
