John, The TPS voltage checked out as normal. TLong, Good suggestion but I decided to go with a stock ECM. I am hoping that it will be done today or tomorrow. I will let you all know the result.

John, We tried your test and no luck. I think I have no choice but to replace the ECM at this point.

I have had similar problems, but when I push some of the buttons, they do not respond nor does the indicator light above the selected button illuminate. I took it apart to look at it and it is all solid state and I have no idea how to fix it. Hopefully someone else out there does. Kurt

Eagle and Ken, I did order two while I was at it--just in case. I have the same inclination as you two but the shop I use here in Santa Rosa thought is was not necessary. I might as well have them both done. Thanks for the advice. See you at the 50th!
