1. have an original style radio upgraded with new components. 2. get a radio from one of the Corvette vendors that look ok in the c3 dash but are not original. 3. keep the original radio and install a hidden radio system with a remote. good luck!!

It took me many years to find the matching numbers, correctly dated, carb for my 72 454 automatic. I paid quite a bit for a carb in poor condition. If you can't rebuild the original, please save it for a future owner. Good luck!

The two refrigerant oils in question ARE INCOMPATABLE. Damage will occur (compressor total failure) if the correct oil is not used with the correct freon. Evacuation is not enough. You need to COMPLETELY remove the old oil. Clean the system compontnts and lines out before thinking of recharging...

I don't recall if a code was set for me or not. The CPU was getting a signal, just not enough of one to correctly control the throttle response. Cleaning those connections cannot hurt and just might help, if all else fails. Good luck!
