The car is packed and Europe awaits

I would say this trip may take up to 7 hours, the roads are better when you are getting closer to Gothenburg and onwards, from there it is highway with 2 lanes in each direction, and in some places you are allowed to drive at 120 km/h (74,5 mph) The traffic should not be so bad, considering...

The car is packed and Europe awaits

So, I saw that you will be travelling the west coast of Sweden to Trelleborg, via E6, just about in the middle of that leg, is where we have our summer house, in Mellbystrand. I checked the weather along the route and it is supposed to be quite good after an overnight rain. Happy travel. //Sweabe

    Question: Is something missing?

Whalepirot, Thank you! I'm quite sure that the original cap is open to the atmosphere, as the shape of it is a little special, rectangular. So there should not be any problem driving the car without it. But I would like to keep the car "complete", it is just anoying to know that the cap is...

    Question: Is something missing?

I have also read that you should avoiding using high pressure washer, however, I was not washing the engine, but the frame rails, suspension etc. But I agree that the general rule is, not to use a high pressure washer. "Go to an auto parts place and ask for some vacuum caps." My...

    Question: Is something missing?

I found it, in the FSM, it is the cover on the vacuum bleeder valve. So now it's only to find the cover, as I only backed the car into the garage after cleaning it. //sweabe

    Question: Is something missing?

Hib, I have done that several times, but I will do it again. I have searched for pictures on the net, showing this part of the engine room, and on one I could barely see what looked as a blind plug. I have the FSM, but have not been able to locate this (yet) //sweabe

    Question: Is something missing?

Hi, In my -94 Convertible, is there something missing in the red square of the picture? I saw this after having high pressure cleaned this side of the engine. It is located on the hose to the secondary air pump. //sweabe

The car is packed and Europe awaits

PM sent. Arriving in Stockholm from, not Tuku but Turku in Finnish (Åbo in Swedish), witch ferry line are you planning to arrive with, Tallink/Silja or Viking Line? I'm asking because my work is within walking distance from the Tallink/Silja terminal. I'm looked closer to your map and saw that...

The car is packed and Europe awaits

Hi Jack, I have totally missed this, but I have been following your road trips since I became a member of CAC, I now understand that you will arrive in Norway, and that you will pass Stockholm, Sweden, when do you expect to arrive in Stockholm? If you need help with anything during your stay...
