I did the same as robert with my opti, works fine after a little over a year at least the last time I ran it. Too much salt on the roads to run now. Don't know about conversion.:beer
I have one of the speed lingerie bras the directions with it say not to leave it on for extended periods or paint damage will result. It is color matching and I do like that, Hope this helps.
I can't add alot other than to say a lift does help on the opti part of the wires It was a challenge on drivers side. I used a couple of long extensions together and unbolted asr and was able to get to plugs and wires without completely removing good luck.
This probably will not be too well excepted by some folks, But I went with discount tire for my chrome wheels. Not the cheapest but my reciept has a lifetime warranty and a brick and mortar place to return to. No boxing up and hoping that the return goes well. Got tires too (Michelin pilots)...
I have always pinched off the brake lines and opened bleeders so excess fluid is not forced back thru system. It is old fluid anyhow and it never hurts to flush system.
