Clarkson has been trashing America for years....he is a bum. Nice surprise to see a fond write-up of the Callaway Corvette from him though.

...now that 89-010 is gone, what other B2Ks are in the UK?

I brought back to the US from the UK a '91 CTTC non-aero coupe that was built specifically for that market. Got it about 18 mnths ago before the current run-up in the pound. The car is a non-B2K since that is the only way you Callaway would let you order them for export. God Bless America!

Question: Should we do a COG brick at NCM?

with that kind of money commitment and all the stuff that was displayed by the generous owners here, I say we buy an acre across the street from the NCM, stick a trailer on it, open our own museum and stick a 20ft. statue of a turbo on it! I volunteer to run the gift shop.

Question: What is the most erroneous claim you have ever heard about your car??

I got "is that the Sledgehammer?" as I was pumping gas a couple months ago. and "is that the new corvette?" just a few years ago.

    (Prices) Cars That Matter

Chris, Check out Corvette Magazine, April '08 issue, pages 78-81, "Going for Gold". Talks about you "sleuthing" thru files in Old Lyme. Perhaps acting the part of "Sherlock Holmes" is a better analogy...

New School Car at Spring Mountain

When in Florida, consider my friends all Corvette driving school. Its gotten very high marks from a few Callaway owners who have enjoyed track day events and gotten race licenses too. The instuctors are great and tons of seat time. Here is a link; www.tv4autos.com/scde

News: 2008 Event Honoring Callaway's Designer - Paul Deutschman

Looks like a classy event....perfect time of year too. Count me in Luigi with at least one car.

Why a Callaway over the rest???

I agree Luigi. In SFLa, "exotic eye candy" (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston, etc) is not rare nor special. The CTTC aero bodies still get the looks and comments and a C16 will be as rare as a Pagani or Bugatti. I've owned an Aston and Lamborghini Gallardo with their short warrantys, expensive repair...
