Now that 89-010 has moved on to a new home and left Corvettes Claremont, what other Callaways are in the United Kingdom?

I was asked today about this and there was a silver/gray 1987, but I cannot seem to find the info online of the shop that held it. It was the same guy who brought the yellow 1986 ZR-1 proto. to Carlisle in 2003 :w

BTW, this is topic # 2,900 :eek

I brought back to the US from the UK a '91 CTTC non-aero coupe that was built specifically for that market. Got it about 18 mnths ago before the current run-up in the pound. The car is a non-B2K since that is the only way you Callaway would let you order them for export.

God Bless America!

this one is still for sale

for who is interested I have the video where he is comparing this car with a 911 RUF turbo

and Malc's Vette has gone to Heimo Huma ,

there was an aerobodied 90 L98 imported from Japan, but that one I lost track of. ( when someone wants pics shoot me mail or PM )
I wanted to buy it cheap just for the aerobody but he asked 15K pound sterling for it few years ago. :eyerole

so practically there are none left in the UK :chuckle

Thanks guys :beer

A magazine contacted me through Callaways PR firm looking for a UK B2K to do a feature about.

Given the currency exchange trends, we may see more on the other side of the pond ;squint:

To tell you the truth it amazes me not more went over the pond till so far! When I bought my vette 1 euro was 1 dollar, now 1 euro is 1.5 dollars! (and at this rate I don't know where it will end...)

That means you can get a new 2008 580HP C6 Supercharged Callaway for about 50K Euros plus shipping.

I was checking these pics out and, WOW!!! Mostly cool, not too sure on the cut-up console... :crazy$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$:W

Today we had our technical club-meeting here in Holland. Arie brought his #010 and his C1. He also said on our forum he bought a C6 ZO6 in Germany and it will be delivered next week. His custom c5 was put on a slower track but he will finish it this year. I only read and reply to Arie's replies on our forum i didn't speak with him today!

Please try to remember I'm also a big Callaway fan and it isn't my car. I'm only a messenger to bring you updates on this one of a kind Callaway. I don't like what i see but it isn't my car and i think Arie is well aware of the fact that i liked the Callaway in his "original" shape better then this.

The red wire hoses and spark lines where there also 2 years ago, the airpomp then was also replaced then by a pulley. And he changed the valvecovers with chrome aftermarked c4 one's.

He placed a route-master thing under the dash and some buttons for the nos intake in the center-console.

IMG_2995.JPG

They made a custom "Callaway" nos bottle in the rear. Originally the sticker on the windshield said "AJ's corvette clinic" But because Arie and AJ's separated i think he removed 50% of the sticker. Remember the lower halve circle or the missing upper part...

Same old rear.

IMG_2997.JPG

The intercoolers. As you can see the Nos outlets are turned up wards and not down so the outgoing nos is only for a special effect and not for freezing the intercoolers. Only now i see more red in the picture then on location, i think they painted something like the front crossmember red, but i don't know. Also here you see the same sticker.

IMG_2998.JPG

Here the front with a open hood. You see the Callaway emblem damaged. It could be by some accident but the radiator behind it has no damage. The other thing is... now it looks the same as the stickers. I'm saying nothing, you can speculate for your own.

The only irreversibly thing i see is the hole's in the intercooler carbon air"brackets" for the nos line's. The rest can be replaced. Car is greatly taken care of in technical as in storage terms.

do not forget about import taxes and the stupid European nonsense tax.

this puts a normal coupe at the price of 99K euro
the price of a very nice Callaway supercharged in the USA.

for example when we take a C16 to this side of the pond I think price will be about 250K Euro :mad

That is 1 reason I find it difficult to buy a Callaway SNAT or TT in USA
just because these taxes.
