Are C-1 and C-2 prices falling???

:D Define "reasonable" ? Whatcha looking for? What condition? Project car? "Done" car? Original motor/NCRS/BG type of car? Nice driver? AND, most importantly, what price range are you looking for. You can't touch a driving midyear in my area for under 25K. Chuck

Trying to find a 1102173 generator

I believe the only identifying item on the generator is the Delco Remy tag, with the PN and date. I don't believe there are any stampings in/on the case. You could get any generator of the correct configuration and get a dead on repro tag for it. Chuck

    64 door panel

Behind the crank....on the outside of the door panel. Has 3 prongs which poke through the panel and are crimped over behind the panel. There is a rubber donut like gasket that goes under the door panel. Chuck

    Gauge Problems From H**L

The oil gauge is a purely mechanical gauge, no electrics at all. Only way it wouldn't work is if the line was plugged, or the gauge itself was plugged up. Chuck

need sources for one piece molded front ends for C1

:) The price you're quoting IS for the jig assembled front end. Here's a cut and paste from the ad. The one piece fronts are $1350. You don't want that one. Why? Usually poor fit. It's a cheesy cheap repair that you'll regret. When the day comes to sell the car, it will significantly reduce...

need sources for one piece molded front ends for C1

It's Jim Sermersheim. He's in Indiana, as I recall. Don't have his #. I don't believe you want the one piece front. I think you're asking about the jig assembled fronts, which both Image and Sermersheim make. Chuck

    block numbers?

The letter I and the number 1 are used interchangeably. That adds to the confusion. Also, the letter O and the number 0. More confusing. :) Chuck

Side Cove Restoration for a '62.

My page shows $324.00 for the pair. Expensive? Dunno. :) Figure the cost to repair the pits and then re-chrome the pot metal on the originals, plus painting, etc. Cost of new correct repro vs. refurbish the old ones. :) Chuck
