240' is what it runs for the smog crap. So what do you want? I changed the chip, and the sensor, along with rebuilding the radiator. The sensor is set at 180', cuts in the fan at 180'. Always cool. But then again I installed the FLOWKOOLER water pump. You know Ive done alot of mod's. E-Mail me...

Yep, I finally installed the flowkooler water pump. And to tell you guys, it works to the best. Glad I did it. tony

But if you started out with regular motor oil. After all the miles. Do not use the syn. oil. Your asking for trouble. And mucho oil leaks. OK. TONY

How often do you start your vette when it just sits in your garage? And how long do you let it run, before running it thru the gears, or running the A/C? An automatic. Just would like to know. like 12.5 miles in the last year. Crap. ThankYou tony

Just an FYI. Back in the day I had an '68 camaro, with 45k on it and decided that syn. oil would be good for it. Needless to say it totaly spun the bearings. I will never make that mistake on another car that has used regular oil from birth. Hope this helps you guys. Start with syn, then stick...
