I was getting some new tires put on yesterday and while waiting I asked the guy about wheels. I thought the ZR-1 wheels would look good on my Vette. :D He couldn't find exactly what I wanted... ZR-1 wheels that have the spokes powder coated or painted black. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Call NAPA and ask them about the hum. I wouldn't mention the scantool to them, it may void the warranty. I can't see any reason for the scantool to affect the alternator. More like a weak triac in the alt.

I had the same thing as Grizzly. Mine would also light up on hard acceleration. Fluid was only down about 1/8", I topped it off and no problem since. I would start there.

I think you may be on the right track, perhaps in the egr system. Bad egr valve? egr valve gasket leaking?

Yes, the harder shifts will put added stress on the u-joints. That's kinda obvious as well as most mods to your car will add driveline stress. If your Vette has quite a few miles, you might want to install new u-joints. There is always the possibility that it will shorten the life of the...
