Hello everybody So my 1989 6 spd is running but it does not have tail lights. When I press on the brake the brake lights go on, the center console lights go on, sometimes the door chime comes on and the cornering lights go on. So I figure that there is a broken ground somewhere and when I...

    Brakes

What surprised me was the retaining clips and the rad are the only thing that holds that caliper in place. Kind of flimsy. I know that the caliper and bracket are not expensive ($90.00 per side). So I will be purchasing at least one if not both sides. Thank you for the input.

    1984 corvette "overdrive"

When my 84 did that. I went and crimped the blade that connects to the overdrive. It was just a bad connection. So go under and make sure that all the wires are on the connectors tight.

    timing

I will once the temperature gets above holy#$%^ cold go out and check that the timing advances correctly. I believe you are correct about the fuel volume. So I wil be picking up a pump soon. And I willl definetly give balancing them another shot. I am pretty sure I know which vacuum port to use.
