Yuengling Lotto
369 hp/492 torque
Eric, good idea, but can I specify Yuengling Black and Tan and that it be iced down for emergency consumption by Callaway owners? See you in Carlisle.

GM Scan Tool
Hi,
Thanks for the informative response on correctly setting up an adjustable FPR.
Looking at the Actron web site, it doesn't look like they sell the CP9100 any more. Is the CP9110 unit (see url: www.actron.com/cgi-bin/web_store.cgi?page=cp9110.htm&cart_id=2226257_9965) a...
Gray/Teal Aero TT
Chris,
Thanks for the quick info. I saw your previous post with the interior color just after hitting the send button before. It sure would be a better color combo car with silver Dymag wheels and a black interior!
Weren't there two colors of gray back in 87 -- a light...
The turquoise 87 Aerobody car is apparently still for sale. Has anyone from the CAC actually looked at this car to see what its overall condition and driveability are like? Those Dymags are begging for a re-finish job, though. Does anyone know what color the interior leather is. One of the...
CR1 info
I have a couple of questions on the Callaway-modified ZR1s
Was there a standard base set of modifications? What were these mods?
What did the base cars cost? What hp/torque figures did the massaged motors have? What did the motor/drive train mods consist of (heads, cams, exhaust...
Precision Turbo
Are you talking about the turbo guys located in Hebron, Indiana (219 996-7832)/www.precisionte.com ? Do you know if they have any familiarity with the Callaway setup? Have they repaired any seriously broken Callaway TTs?
There is another outfit in Texas that said they would...
Nice, but expensive, convertible.
I thought all of the factory aerobodies came with the rubber strip left in black, not painted as shown in the picture. I actually like the painted look better, but I do not think Callaway rolled them out like this.
Does anyone know the real story on...
Unfair Advantage
Eric,
Great showing of power and handling. With the low times of some of the small cars, it seems like the course must have been pretty twisty and not well suited to the higher power cars, too. That makes your times more impressive.
What kind of mods (if any) do you have to...
Was@this originally an automatic?
Car looks pretty nice, but:
1. Was this originally an automatic car (based on the Callaway serial number)?
2. Can the automatic live reliably under the massive extra torque of the twin turbo engine?
3. Are the 0-60 times comparable for an automatic and a...
Billet Specialties Mysteries Solved
Just spoke to the guys at Billet Specialties and have solved a couple of mysteries:
1. The large hex cap is held on by an o-ring and the BS supplied wrench is supposed to be used with a "pop-off" type motion. I had tried this last night but the wrench kept...
Thanks for the suggestion
Hi,
I had already hit the Billet Specialties and a number of other web sites last night and was going to call them at 708-588-0505 when they were open. I need to get a few business calls out of the way this AM first though.
Hopefully they will have the magic. I...
A few months ago I purchased the car in the picture. It's a pretender Callaway as it does not have a twin turbo setup underneath. But it is still a pretty nice 91 convertible that has been given a high dollar Callaway Aerobody and a few other nice mods by a previous owner.
The car came with...
Turbo Trip Schedule
Callaway88,
Any progress or schedule to report on your Ocala trip to Evergreen Turbo? I think the shop is south of Ocala, so that will shorten your trip up from Orlando, too.
Can you take a few more pictures of your turbo assemblies and send them to me? Have you talked...
Turbo Rebuild
Those seem like pretty good prices, but the real deal is what happens when you have wheel, shaft or housing problems that preclude a "normal" rebuild. We still need to develop some alternate sources for out of production parts.
good luck,
Steve
Got the pix/Sent the pix
Thanks Callaway88,
I received the pix okay and have forwarded them to one of the turbo repair guys already. I will reduce the resolution and post them to the forum (so they will fit within the maximum byte count restriction) within a day or two.

Turbo Repairs
Callaway88,
I spoke to Charlie Brown at Evergreen Turbos (800-275-2531) today about some of your part numbers and have emailed him all of the part numbers that you sent out last night. He thinks that Callaway may have removed/replaced the original manufacturer tag that he really...
The more pix, the better
I think the more pix the better when we are trying to find alternate parts. A couple of pictures of the impeller wheel and the inside of the housing would also be good.
Steve
Driver Side Turbo Pix
I think the picture disk email would be fine. I have Photoshop on my Mac and should be able to manipulate the emailed pictures as needed.
Just make sure that you take some good, in focus close ups from all six sides of the turbo. Send them when you can. Meanwhile, I...
Thanks for the detailed report!!!
Thanks for all of those numbers. Whew!
I will try them with some local turbo rebuilders here in California when I get up to LA in the week or two. I will also pass them along to Charlie Brown at Evergreen Turbo. He thought he could get a start on some good...
TO4B Part Numbers
Thanks for the offer.
Just post all the numbers you see from your driver's turbo on the forum to this topic or to the one titled "Evergreen Turbo" at the top of the Callaway forum.
Or you can send me a private email: steve@bigdog.ads-oh.atg.titan.com
thanks and good...
