Hello I have an earlier 77, built in the 3rd week of August of 1976. L48, with power steering, A/C, etc... Anyone find it difficult to access the cap on the power steering reservoir because of the alternator bracket being in the way? Appreciate any info or suggestions. Thanks

Was working on the car today and realized that the bracket that the cable connects to and the steering column bolts to through the firewall, has an adjustment. Made the adjustment, problem fix. Thanks for every ones help.

Thanks for responses. Actually there is no adjustment. Each end of the cable is crimped with the eye connectors and the outside shield is clipped into the brackets, one into the trans bracket and one into steering column bracket. When I talk to the vendor all they say is "That's the right cable...
