I have lusted after the 5th gen Camaros since they came out. About a month ago I traded in my Vette for a 2010 Inferno Orange Metallic SS with the manual 6 speed. The Vette needed shocks, a new radiator and A/C repair. Found out I could insure the Camaro full coverage for about 1/2 of what the...

Wow!
Looked like a video game. He had the car at its limits a couple of times towards the end. Did you notice the quick steering wheel "corrections" as the back end started to come around. I too found myseld trying to look around the rear view mirror. That looked like tons of fun. The only...
Nice Story
Before I bought mine, the only Vette contact in my life was sitting in the 76 Vette which belonged to the son of the local Chevy dealer. The car show kid - He's hooked!

I have had a brake pulsing issue for a while now and finally decided to change out the rotors. Replaced rotors and pads all around this weekend and the pulsing is gone. But, the passenger front caliper would not bleed properly. Even with full brake pedal pressure, the brake fluid would only ooze...
Photos!
Here's a few pics. Nothing really on the road. I didn't drive very much once I got there. Mostly an interstate trip. I-70 to St Louis and I-64 into Ky. Those of you who have done the Cruisfest caravan from here know it well. This was my third road trip. I've been to Phoenix...
Measure the resistance of the injector coils. Or disconnect them one at time. When you disconnect the bad one, it will run. An EGR valve stuck open with carbon is another possibility.
Just got back from a road trip to Kentucky. I have 96,000 miles on my stock 89 coupe. Just drove 2565 trouble free miles at 23.1 MPG. It is an automatic with a high performance rearend. (3.08)

YEEEHAAAAA!!!!
Congratulations! :upthumbs :beerThanks for sharing the final solution. It may have been a trial on your patience but your patience paid off. You now have a running torque monster L98. You've learned tons about its operation and you've checked or replaced a lot of stuff that...
Radar Detector or Ticket Detector!
I bought a new radar detector a couple of years ago. Many say that they are merely ticket detectors and that was my experience. When it went of on lasar and scared the crap out of me it wasn't saying "SLOW DOWN!" it was saying "YOU"RE BUSTED!". Even with a...
Any Progress?
Any news? Did you figure it out? Did you check the resistance of the cold start injector? Did you check the injector wiring harness? If you figured it out, let us know.;shrug:thumb
Feelin' Your Pain
I printed out the L98 start sequence info when I was working on mine. It doesn't say a thing about the injector issue. When you run out of possibilities from the start sequence, try the disconnecting individual injectors test and see if she starts and runs. Then I would...
Traitor! Coward!
So. You post in the C5 section to tell them you've arrived but not in the C4 section to tell us you've left. Nice!;)
I guess at your age, it was just getting to hard to get in and out over that door sill. What's that? It was too hard for Rose. Sure blame it on the wife...
