Hi everyone,
My lights in my dash won't come on, it is also breaking the small fuse. I've replaced my headlight switch but unfortunately it didn't fix anything. Of course it can't be that easy! Damn it! So here's my troubleshooting.
I've put a new fuse, turned the lights on, lights in dash...
Yes same switch and works just the same, the issue is really the length of the rod, i've sent an email to corvette america, i'll let you know, weird because the item number is for 1972 to 1976. I have a 1974.

You have 2 positions on the switch when you pull it once, you have all the lights without the headlights that comes on, then another pull and the headlights come on. The problem i'm having now is that when i push all the way in, it's not shutting off the lights because it won't go all the way...
Did anybody had the same problem? I am installing a new headlight switch and decided to get the new headlight knob and rod, well turns out the darn rod is shorter than the on i have on my car! result? I can shut off the lights completely!

Solution? Maybe?
If the only problem here is the size of the filter, would a K&N X-Stream-Top-Filter fix the issue? I have one on mine and will probably go fetch that extra air required. Also my hood on my 74 is a fully fonctional cowl induction hood, air will flow to the top of the filter...
I've cleaned everything and adjusted the latch, it's never worker better, i will do the same on the other side as well because it's worth it i think

Hi,
Look at this, the door mechanism was so full of old grease which as gone hard as gum that i couldn't get the door open from the outside anymore, took me a day of soaking in varsol to get it cleaned up. Now that it is clean, what kind of spray lubricant should i use on this?

Hi,
i hope this is not a sign of an possible engine rebuilt. It happened a few times this summer. I'll be driving without no problems and all of a sudden the oil pressure gauge will show zero pressure and when i rev the engine 1 to 3 times the pressure goes up to normal again.
Now could it...
This was my first guess, would you know how to remove the cluster panel? The darn stering wheel prevents me from removing it, do i have to take off my steering wheel column? Because if i do i might as well replace it with one that tilts.
Problem came back!
well i've changed the fuse and first drive it blew the fuse again, so now it will blow fuses every time i put a new one in, any idea on where i should start looking?
thanks in advanced
Problem fixed
Thanks guys, i had checked quickly last time but didn't see that small fuse was broken, found it now, just glad it's not an electrical issue, fuses are an easy fix .
anyways, problem is fixed. Thanks to all who responded.
Hi,
for some reason i lost all lights in dash, meaning speedometer, tach, and all gauges, oil pressure, clock, battery indicator etc.. In my 1974 corvette stingray, anybody knows what it could be, it's strange that all of a sudden nothing and turning the light switch knob from side to side...
Update
ok. I just got back from the garage. I've tested the neutral safety switch and it's working fine. I've disabled it and the car would still start without clutch sometimes and sometimes won't do anything. So it's not that.
Also, The car as been sitting there now for a few hours and It...
