    :D I've had a 96 C-4 coupe, a 98 C-5 coupe, an 01 Z06, and now an 04 Z06. Simply stated... each year the VETTE gets better. Buy the latest year you can afford! Low milage is desirable, and of coarse... no accidents!

    :D Armor-all seems to work quite well. ;) I use it to keep the appearance up... and its use seems to also keep the weatherstrip soft & plyable!!!

    :D Yep.... sounds like a "traction control" thingie's messing up! :) Get "all" the current up-dates... on my 01 Z06 there had to be a dozen or so up-dates about a year ago. I had to "ASK" the tech. to up-date the system... in order to get it done! ;) Sometimes they "just can't be bothered"...

    :( I got burned with the first year model... 01 Z06... and I was "lucky" not to get an "oil burner"! The 02 bumped hp. from 385 to 405, dropped the "pup-cats" and added the "HUD". ;) I'm gonna try to wait until the 2nd year of the new C6 Z06 (who am I kidding?)... if I can "hold out" ROFL.

    Recommended Intake Upgrade

    :) Easiest up-grade for the std C-5 is to get a Z06 lid! :D Ken Flitchner (sp?) has em for > $50.00, I think. He's listed on the Corvette Forum.

    :( I don't think you can get 400 rwhp and still have a daily driver with the LT-1. Try Rippy, Mallet, and Lingenfelter(sp?) web sites for engine info! :) Now if your talking "crankshaft" hp. (~350 @ rear wheels), yeah that should be do-able!
