A little background information leading up till now. My '02 had been slow to start about the last 4 or 5 times. Had to roll the key twice and then it should start. Then one morning it would not start period. It would roll over all day long but wouldn't start. Tried it 2 days later and it started...
Hello Peter,
All of the interior lights do not work that are on the timer. All of them do work if I roll the rheostat over so I'm thinking I must have have done something when I removed the glove box liner. I'll have a look at that later on today. Hopefully I can find out something. Thanks.
I took care of (2) problems today and I got a new one. I didn't have any cluster or gauge lights so I replaced the headlight dimmer switch and that took care of that problem. My low fuel light wasn't working and I removed the glove box liner several times and then ended up pulling out the gauge...
No.
I checked the knob and its ok.
The lights are staying on and are not timing out unless I fully open the passenger door and then closing.
Here are some more oddities: the passenger side window and locks intermittenly do not work and the reduced engine power alert comes on every so often...
Yes, those are the lights that are on. I checked on it this morning and the radio, ac/heater control lights and the transmission selector lights were still on. The parking lights were off.
I had a trickle charge on the battery overnight so it stay charged though. I opened the passenger side door...
My courtesy lights are staying on as well as my gauge lights on my 2002 vette. Eventually my courtesy lights will go off after about 10 minutes but the gauge lights stay on. This has caused the battery to run down a few times. The problem is not constant. Sometimes they go off like they should...
When I first turn the ac on in my '02, the ac smells really bad for a few minutes and then it is ok. What are some of the things I need to do to correct this? Thanks,Brad
Okay, I have replaced the oil switch and also replaced the oil gauge and still have the same problem. Dunno, it looks like its time to take her to the shop.
The last couple times I drove my '81 the oil pressure gauge pegs out. It comes back down after I shut the engine off but pegs as soon as I fire her up. Any thoughts?
thanks,
Brad
The agreement was reached during a phone conversation and then confirmed in a couple of emails. There was no doubt that an agreement was in place. Even to the point that she said that we could go to her bank and get the transaction record notorized which I have to have in Ky.
And yes it is back...
A friend of mine has a '74 Dark Green with the 454 engine. I looked in my black book but it didn't list how many of each color were made. Does anybody have these numbers?
thanks,
Brad
Yep, that is the one. This is now the 3rd time that it has been on ebay. During the 2nd listing, we agreed on a price so she ended the auction but now its back on. Potential buyer better be aware!
Sometimes you never know about people. Last week, I agreed to buy a '77 from VirtualVettes. I explained that it would be a week before I would be able to come and pick up the vette which was ok with her. After a couple of phone calls and emails, everything was set up. I would pick up the vette...
