I was looking at the engine VIN on a '64 the other day at a small show. To the left of the engine assembly date, the VIN number appeared to be double struck, with the correct numbers. It was then struck again, very clearly, beneath the engine assembly date. The engine assembly date looks fine...

I put the tag bar on the front of my '64 coupe, but can't see any way to attach the license plate to the bar. Do I need a special bracket, or plate holder, or do I just need to fabricate something?

My '64 coupe arrived today. Matching number 327/300 that was rebuilt mechanically and cosmetically to a 327/365. Great looker and driver.
Have been a Porsche and Shelby guy for a long time; this should be an excellent adventure.
